The Palaindoor was launched in February 2005. Nowadays it represents the only permanent indoor facility fully directed to athletics. It is the only construction of its kind in Italy, and one of the few in whole Europe.
The Palaindoor is located in Ancona, in Via della Montagnola, in front of the Carabinieri headquarter and close to the “Palombare” shopping area, pretty close to the new rugby field. It is possible to reach the area by two different entrances in Via della Montagnola that conduct you directly to the huge parking area that offers a total of 500 parking spaces.
Versatility above Athletics
Thanks to the two curves supported by hydraulic cylinders, the Palaindoor appears as a versatile structure. The space, actually, can host a variety of other sports activities in addition to be suitable for meetings, conventions, congresses, fairs, exhibitions, concerts etc.
